20th Regiment of Foot - Lancashire Fusiliers

Sir Richard Peyton's Regiment of Foot.
The regiment was raised in Devonshire. Until 1751 it was also known by the names of ten other colonels.

20th (The East Devonshire) Regiment of Foot.

The Lancashire Fusiliers
23rd April 1968
Merged with The Royal Northumberland Fusiliers, The Royal Warwickshire Fusiliers and The Royal Fusiliers (City of London Regiment) to form The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers.
